Victoria Lynn's Birth Story

I just recieved my shipment today and I must say I am very pleased with the quality of the merchandise and the proptness in which it was sent. The reason for my order was not for my daughter, but to be given to other baby's in her honor. Sadly my daughter was stillborn on february 15th. I was 34 weeks along and the cord got wrapped around her neck and she did not survive. I was told at a routine doctors appointment that a heartbeat was not detected and I would have to go to the hospital and deliver. I had a cesarean section and afterwards we were allowed to hold Victoria Lynn as long as we wished. My whole family was there and we all shared in this tender moment that I will never forget. I also was blessed to be provided with a free service of professional photography to capture these moments. I was fortunate to have family that went and bought preemie clothes from a local store to dress her in for the photos. As you may know the clothes available in the stores simply do not fit a baby this small, also it was challenging to try to dress this tiny body in a traditional gown. I cherish the gown and cap she wore as well as the photos of her in them, but I wish I could have had something that really fit her. To some it may sound silly but I know how important these small mementos really are. So thats why I wanted to donate micro preemie outfits, along with a book about infant death that helped me get through this rough time in my life. The hospital informed me that the tragedy off stillbirth occurs a few times a month and rarely ever as far along as I was. So I want all those other families suffering this loss to have something to remember their little angels by forever. I plan to replenish the supply at the hospital as needed so I will be ordering again. I appreciate your time and hopefully these tiny gowns and caps will bring a little joy and comfort in a time of sorrow.
